I saw Alice Ball last Thursday night at the MLS orientation. She'll make a fine librarian. Benjamin Eckley didn’t make it- he must be content to stock books where no one can see him- the better for all of us. Jason Poole wasn’t there, either. I figured he’s been making this whole librarian business up- who would let Jason Poole take charge of the Children’s/Young Adult section of their local public library? What kind of future are we in store for when Jason Poole selects the books our children read?
