Older I Get

"There are those who might insist that whatever we do in church ought to be positive and uplifting. And I suppose such people would have trouble with singing the blues in church."

Yet...

"Singing the blues in church is a matter of honesty."

i really enjoyed reading that, john. i'm thankful that i'm a member of a church that will listen to people's problems, instead of faking that life is perfect if you sing a few praise songs. :) this reminded me to always get to the root of the problem, and to never cover it with a smile. peace out, cub scout.
