Delivery

I am still in a state of shock.

27 February Anno Domini 2006

The midwife had to see someone else for a few minutes. The nurse stepped out of the room for a "minute" to grab some supplies. That was the moment the all-wise Creator chose to bring this baby out of the womb. Yes, I delivered the baby.

Cadie and I both think she looks like Abby. I think it's the mouth/chin.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! She's a cutie and definitely related to her sisters. Mother Johnson left a message on our answering machine, so I had to come looking for pictures! Hooray! :)

Congratulations to you all! What a joy it is for you and for us to share in with you! I hope Abby is doing well!

Susannah is so beautiful! I love those huge dark eyes. Much like a Wren! I think she looks a bit like Annika but with eyes like Millie but who knows for sure. Again. We are so happy for you and this blessed occasion!

We agree with Titi. She has Abby's mouth and CHIN (it's not a bad thing Abby, I think Haven has it too, he's starting to look like Gary Jr.).

I would pay about anything to see a shapshot of the panic on John's face in that moment. Sheee's coming!

And a little quote from Teddy Roosevelt (my dad's hunting buddy).

"For unflagging interest and enjoyment, I recommend a household of children. If things go reasonably well, certainly all other forms of success and achievement lose their importance by comparison."

Congratulations.

John & Abby,

Congratulations! That is so amazing that you actually delivered her, John.

Sonya and I both really like the name. Sonya thinks she looks a lot like Abby, to concur with a lot of other people's comments. Sonya also says that she's got some more knitting to do! Sonya also says that she can't believe you're 3 babies ahead of us...

In an earlier comment, I suppose Millie rebuked us too.
